Started off the weekend by picking up some stop log water control structures on the way back from business in Houston.
Friday afternoon we dropped off the risers, planned the project and had a beverage.
Steaks for dinner
Barry providing some entertainment
Caught a few small bass after breakfast
Saturday was a work day on feeders, fence, guns, and jerky.
You know you're doing it right when you draw blood...
The food plots are looking great!
Here are some pics from a new camera I'm trying.
A few hogs!
I smoked a couple pork butts for lunch and dinner.
I got the new hog killer (Savage Model 11 in 308 - Leupold VXR Scope) sighted in before dark.
Made jerky all evening - Goose, Duck, and Deer.
My boys came up Sunday morning and played all day.
Sitting with PaPa.
Getting their guns on target.
They were both out before I got off the gravel road and onto the highway to head home!
Finished the weekend with some apple pie moonshine from my neighbor.
