Bow Opener

I stayed and hunted in East Texas instead of heading South.  It worked out pretty well since it has been raining steady since early Saturday morning across the whole state.  I sat in a tree in a bottom full of white oak trees dropping acorns but didn't see anything but squirrels all morning.  Elan sat in the double ladder overlooking the highline and creek.  He saw some pigs, a doe and a small buck but nothing died.  We both sat over a feeder the night before and he killed a 124 lb sow.

The guys got the last of the hay baled just in time!

Elan's pig and sporting an LCO shirt for the good luck.  You can also spot the expert shot placement!

We sat in a box blind for the afternoon hunt but just watched it rain.
