I was in San Antonio on some business and stayed at the ranch to try to get a turkey. My buddy Dave and his daughter went out Saturday morning with me. After finding some birds and a couple failed attempts at getting one to come in close enough we came around a corner to find 4 gobblers. Dave called from the truck and they started heading our way. I hopped out with the gun and a decoy and Dave got them on the edge of my range. I took the shot (47 yards) and dropped this big one!
Great bird with an 11 inch beard!
