I couldn't get away to hunt but my brother did. He was able to shoot a limit of teal, gadwall, and mallard, including this eclipse drake.

Here's a couple new deer on game camera's.

10/06/10

Went up to Fredericksburg for a morning bow hunt before heading to the office. Saw 9 doe and 1 nice young 8 point. Got out of the tree at 9:20 to rewire a feeder motor and check cameras.

Nice surprise to see a new exotic hanging around. It's a Sika and looks like a decent one compared to other trophy pictures I have seen.

The only problem. At least they are coming out in the day instead of night. Maybe we can get some killed.

Checking Feeders and Sneaking in a Dove Hunt

Went to Fredericksburg with my dad to top off feeders and hunt some dove in the evening. Our field of choice...
