Opening Weekend Bow

3rd cutting hay

County putting fresh oil top on Antelope.

Sat in the big stand Friday night and saw 1 doe and 1 mature cull 6. Boys enjoyed campfire with leftover bbq from ANEIET and marshmallows.

Excited for opening morning but only saw a great sunrise.

Shredding shooting lanes for moved stand.

Native grass and duck pond sprouting.

A couple weekends later I finally got to sit in a tree. No deer but 2 young boars gave me a shot.

First kill with Bear Anarchy, Carbon Express Red and Swhacker. Pig went 20 yards before piling up.

Luke's always excited to see pigs on the ground.

Tule Creek Outfitters

Filet, lamb chops and crab cakes for dinner.

Pigeon hunt

28ga dove slam: mourning, white wing and collared

Diverting South for weather on the way home.

ANEIET 2016

Great time as always!

ETEX Charcuterie

Dove/Deer/Duck Preparations

Sunflowers, sorghum and millet in the dove field.

Bridge collapse and replacement.

Took time to clean out and organize the toolbox. Only filled up one sack with trash..

Filling feeders and prepping for more fun.

This was the feeder destined to get the tannerite but it finally failed on it's own before ANEIET.

Native grass field and duck pond prepped and planted.

Boards in water control and additional concrete reinforcement.

Target rich environment!

Summer Chores

Getting the hay cut, bailed and moved.

Fixing feeders, stands and food plots...

Experimenting with construction of a simple semi-pit so we can hunt all sides of the duck pond.
