Another Big Pig Down 2/8/14

Cleaning up after duck season.

Lilly creek got out of it's banks so there's lots of water in the bottom pasture and timber.

Of course filling and maintaining feeders.

It started snowing while filling feeders.

Another evening after getting the .308 dialed in.  125 yards to the feeder and the HSM subsonic round did the job.

 Too heavy to lift by myself into the bed so had to let him ride shotgun...

Sand Pond Weekend 1/24/14

Dubya's for dinner Thursday night.

We hunted the duck pond Friday morning and had 30 ducks come in before shooting light and once again didn't see anything after 8:30.

Scratched out one limit though...

Got the first confirmed kill with the suppressed .308 shooting subs.

Saturday mornings haul.

Time for breakfast. 

Jared's hog and Palmer's piggies (2 with one shot).

Ribs for dinner. 

We don't starve at duck camp!

Wood Duck Hole, Merganser Hole 1/20/14

Barry, Billy and myself hunted the WD Hole but only killed Hooded Mergs...  It's been a strange year for the woodies.

New Years

Headed South for some work just after New Years and stopped by the ranch for a couple hunts.  Still nothing doing on deer or pigs but we did shoot some dove Saturday afternoon!

Yup, that's a rabbit in there too!

Mixed Bag December 27-28

A little after Christmas hunting for quail, hogs and ducks.

This little guy walked into the 300 SAUM at 225 yards.  Bad mistake when I'm seeing no deer activity...

Paul and Nicole with a few ducks.  We had 35-40 come in right at shooting light but it was slow after that.
