Headed back to KS chasing pheasants

Chevy Spark + donuts + powerslides = tire off the wheel with no spare in the middle of nowhere...

Got lucky with an air compressor, ingenuity and lots of luck to get it fixed.

Heading to Kinsley, KS for a quick pheasant hunt!

We had a little dusting of snow for day one.

Day two brought more snow. (First "real" snow of the year according to the outfitter)

We got home after a quick hour and fifteen minute plane ride and packed birds for the freezer.

Smoked a turkey for lunch/dinner.

I saw more deer (10 - all doe and yearlings) Saturday sitting in a stand than I think I did all last year 

combined at this spot.

Saturday Morning Bow

Got to get out and hunt the second Saturday of bow season and only saw 2 coons and 4 wood ducks but it was great to be in a tree!

Of course after getting down to leave a tree had fallen on my road out and there were 2 others preventing me from checking a couple cameras.

Trailer all set-up with new dedicated plug! See destroyed generator from last year's hunt...

A well stocked bar and fridge for the weekend.

Had to fight some wasps in the stand and no-one saw any pigs.

Fernet - Enough Said.

The first morning was extremely foggy.

Refreshments in the field.

Breakfast of champions, BBQ leftovers scrambled with eggs and veggies, and keystone light.

Productive hunt Saturday afternoon but zeroed Sunday morning.
