I headed South for the weekend to meet up with the guys and fill feeders, check batteries, etc.

Fix the tree.

Yup we had a campfire in July!

The boys.

We spent a couple hours on the lake cooling off.

4 more tons on day 2.

Big dinner Saturday night!  (Steaks, stuffed mushrooms and jalapenos, grilled veggies, and ribs)

Brisket for lunch.

Duck Pond Progress

Finally broke ground on the project.  First order of business is getting the water drained.

Three more porkers down!

4th of July!

Dug another trench to keep draining and it will be the install location for the riser board control.

Some water left before the real dirt work can begin.

The hay got cut and bailed just before we are expecting some rain.

I put out a time lapse camera on the high line pea patch.

Jake helped me build a blind platform.

My brother came through town and I set him up for the 1st kill with the new pig thumper!
