Hunting Cart Build

Bob and the guys over at The Cart Shed are helping me put together a hunting cart. We hope it will be a great hunting buggy to sneak around to our bow set-ups during the season and still be a productive work rig when doing all the other fun stuff that comes with the actual hunt!

Stripped almost down to the frame with the lift and tires installed

2 speed rear axle with selectable locker in the diff paired with an 18hp AC motor.

First body panel back from getting sprayed with bedliner for color approval.

Dark desert tan color with black trim and accessories should turn out nice!

I'll post an update when completed.

Fenced Feeders, Food Plots, and Gates

I finished the feed pins around existing feeders and some new locations. Deer are already jumping in to feed.

New fences and gates installed in burned pine planation and new roads in the bottom.

Highline pollinator plots.

The food plots for dove and deer are sprouting up just a week from planting after having about 3 inches of rain.

Skeeter Owner's Tourney and finished seeding 06/10/2012

I fished the Skeeter Owner's Tourney this weekend.  It was a tough one.  We only boated 6 fish and this was the closest under the slot we thought about weighing in.

We moved the seed drill up to Midway and finished planting.

Yup, I pulled it with the grey goose!  An air-conditioned cab is nice!

Summer Food Plots 05/28/2012

Drove up on some pigs during the middle of the day.  You can see one heading into the brush here.

Planting cow peas and clover for deer and milo and sunflowers for dove.

Finished bracing up this old stand we recently moved.

Dove with cream cheese and jalepeno wrapped in bacon for lunch.
